ABOUT ME. I'm a Mechanical and Industrial engineer who spent the first decade of my career scaling financial services, fintech, and Web3 companies across the globe.

That global and personal perspective growing up taught me something unexpected: the systems we trust most, like banking, identity, and ownership, are fundamentally opaque. They work for those who understand or can afford them but extract from everyone else.

Crypto and AI offered a different path, not as utopian cure-alls, but as tools for rebuilding trust through verification, transparency, and mathematics. Today, I lead Investments and Partnerships at Mysten Labs, where we're building decentralized infrastructure that helps solve those problems.

Outside work, I write The Substrate, an outlet for my thought process, applying engineering thinking to disruptive technologies.

The goal is to dissect systems that everyone uses, nobody understands. I draw on frameworks from things that interest me, like mechanics, space systems, neuroscience, Formula 1, and human behavior. The connective thread: first principles thinking applied to problems most people accept as either too complex to understand or too inevitable to question.

If you're building something cool or share similar experiences, let's connect.
